Heritage & Arts Centre

The HAC's main hall is situated in a very quiet street which is 5 minutes walk from Mile End Underground station and includes limited parking for guests.

Lichfield Road

Litchfield Road is a modern and flexible venue, with conference facilities, small meeting rooms, and a main hall which is suitable for conferences, seated events, wedding recetptions, birthday parties, funerals and special occasions.

A fully fitted industrial kitchen is also available for hire and sufficient catering equipment to cater for upto 150 guests seated around tables. For conferences and music events the capacity is 220 standing.

FUNCTION ROOMS
Our function rooms can be used for small gatherings normally used for conferences,
team meetings and smallcelebrations.

Hiring FAQ'S

Covid - 19 - Measures
The Heritage & Arts Centre is operating in accordance with UK government and Church of England guidelines in order to create a safe space for you to enjoy your event. To that affect the following measures are being taken:

  • Facemasks are to be worn at all times unless seated. Physical distancing at 2m should be observed where possible. Plesae use the anti-bacterial hand sanitiser which are available throughout the venue.
  • Temperature scanning on entry is available at most events.
  • Robust one way system is in place.
  • We are compliant with NHS Track & Trace via the NHS COVID-19 App and venue records.
  • Staggered entry and exit in in place.

Toilets and cleaning
A thorough cleaning regime is employed before and after every use of the building in compliance with the UK government guidance. Due to our distancing measures toilet capacity will be reduced so please be mindful when queuing to use the facilities.

Accessibility
